How to make a brochure using Word

By popular demand, here are the step-by-step instructions to make a brochure using Word::

Step 1: click on 'fichier', then 'mise en page'.

Step 2: a box called 'marges' will appear. In the sub-menu 'orientation' select 'paysage'. The text will now appear horizontally as opposed to vertically.

Step 3: you will now make columns. click on 'format', then 'colonnes'

Step 4: a box called 'Colonnes' will appear. in the 'prédéfinir' section, click on 'trois'. This will distribute the text evenly in three columns.

Step 5: You can adjust the size of the margins by using the arrows and the ruler at the top and sides of the writing space.

Step 6: Type in your text and paste in pictures.

Step 7: Print!

CREATE A TRAVEL BROCHURE

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE TRAVEL BROCHURE

1. Your paper must be 8 ½ X 11 inches, and it must be folded into (3) three sections so as to produce (6) six sides. Your paper is to become a brochure, so you want it to be long and narrow. You may use the computer for this part of the project although it is not obligatory.
2. Your brochure must be IN COLOUR
3. The front cover needs A PICTURE of the city.
4. THE INSIDE MUST INCLUDE:

• A brief description of the land
• Things to do (sports activities)
• Places to stay (hotels, etc)
• Where to eat (restaurants and favorite food)
• Directions to the destination (country)
• Deals or coupons
• Places of interest / tourist information (attractions)
• Cultural information (currency, language)
